SENIORS LUNCH PROGRAM – SUSPENDED

IMPORTANT UPDATE In September 2020 the Kerrisdale Seniors’ Centre lunch service was reactivated.  In order to comply with COVID-19 restrictions, we offered a combination of dine-in lunches (maximum 32 people per seating) and take-out lunches (maximum 50 participants) for seniors over age 55. Kerrisdale Senior Singers 1970-2020

50th Anniversary! The Choir in 1970 was a small group of Seniors who loved to sing. The Seniors Centre did not exist so they practiced in the main Kerrisdale Community Centre under the direction of Dorothy Harford and Pianist, Irene Hope. A “New Horizons Grant” was obtained to buy their dresses and jackets. The Conductor, Pianists and Choir members are all volunteers who devote their time performing a minimum of 12 concerts a year at

Immediate Changes at Kerrisdale Community Centre

New COVID-19 province-wide restrictions were announced late last week (November 20) by the Provincial Health Officer to help curb the spread of COVID-19. The order focuses on social interactions and gatherings, indoor group physical activities, and workplace safety. Masks are now required in all public indoor settings and workplaces.
