Class Descriptions

Step Class            16+ yrs
A well-rounded fitness program that includes strength work, cardio, balance, agility, coordination and flexibility components. This class uses the step, as well as some weights and floorwork. Combining choreography with movements and patterns creates a fun, dance-like feel while working leg muscles and cardio for the ultimate calorie burn and strength building. Work at your pace, get fit and challenge yourself in this class. Don’t forget your towel and come prepared to get in shape.

Core Training            16+ yrs
Advanced class. Conditioning class which focuses on strength and stability for the entire body including core stabilizers, upper and lower body. The class will use body balls, hand weights, resistance bands, etc.

Gentle Fit & Mild Mod Low Impact            19+ yrs
A complete workout featuring options for performing all exercises on chairs. Our goal is to promote unaided mobility through gentle cardiovascular exercise.

Gentle Fit                         16+ yrs
Strengthen and build, then relax those muscles while you enjoy a workout designed especially for seniors.

Gentle Fit Advanced                    16+ yrs
Join in for an hour of fun and exercise. This is a go at your own pace workout. Suitable for the more active and mobile senior.

Zumba                               16+ yrs
When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective, and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

Zumba Toning                                16+ yrs
When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). Learn how to use weights to enhance rhythm and tone all the target zones, including arms, abs, and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way to sculpt your body naturally while having a total blast.

TBC & Stretch                               16+ yrs
Total body conditioning and stretch. A strength, endurance, and stretch class to challenge all muscle groups using hand held weights, resistance bands, and mats.

P90X                               16+ yrs
This class help participants to go from regular to totally ripped. Now you can bust through your plateaus and get the best shape of your life! It’s a challenging workout for all fitness levels! P90X Live incorporates different cardio and strength training protocols, such as Tabata, Supersets, Dropsets, and Intervals with a variety of strength equipment and body weight!

Flexibility and Stretching                               16+ yrs
Keeping muscle stretched and flexible is much important than it seems! This class focuses on gentle stretching, range of motion movements, and breathing techniques. Helps you reduce muscle tension, increase range of motion, increase circulation of blood to various parts of the body, increase energy levels, and reduce stress levels. Get started with this gentle, energizing stress class that gets your body feeling flexible and free.

Bootcamp                           16+ yrs
A seniors-focused class that uses bands, weights, medicine balls, and chairs. Join and challenge your aerobic and anaerobic capacity, lose weight, increase strength and flexibility, improve energy and vitality!
