Trivia tidbit: Though you’ve likely walked by this 42nd Ave. entrance plaque (above) many times, you still might not know that the centre occupies the site of the early-1900s Point Grey Municipal Hall – a handsome multi-gabled Tudor Revival building that once stood on the edge of the local budding business district.
