80th Anniversary Trivia
As the Kerrisdale Community Centre Society approaches its 80th anniversary in 2023, we’ll be bringing you nuggets of history, snippets of where we are today and anniversary updates. Trivia tidbit: Though you’ve likely walked by this 42nd Ave. entrance plaque (above) many times, you still might not know that the centre occupies the site of the early-1900s Point Grey Municipal Hall – a handsome multi-gabled Tudor Revival building that once stood on the edge of the local budding business district.

The Opera Zone Is Back This Sunday!
Enjoy an afternoon of listening to arias and songs by Gerard Satamian and other accomplished opera singers! A $10 annual registration fee is required to attend Opera Zone performances to the year or pay $5 to drop in. Catch this all-ages event on Sunday, June 12, 2-4 p.m. in the Seniors Centre Multipurpose Room. Call 604-257-8100 to pre-register.
