Book your appointment for a jab! The Park Board and the Kerrisdale Community Centre Society have reached an agreement with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) to use the Kerrisdale Seniors Centre as a Covid vaccination site. Depending on the need, the vaccination site may remain open from March to August 2021. The Society Board of Directors overwhelmingly supported this alternate use of the Seniors Centre. Recipes from Betty’s Kitchen

We are excited to announce a new blog page dedicated to showcase Recipes from Betty’s Kitchen. For those who are not familiar with our Seniors’ Lunch Program, more than 27,000 Society-subsidized lunches were served at our Seniors Centre before Covid-19. On average about 100 meals were served each day, 6-days a week. This program was a valuable resource to our Kerrisdale seniors.  We know you’ve been missing Betty’s great lunches and snacks from the Senior’s Kitchen

Seniors Lunch Program – Suspended

IMPORTANT UPDATE In September 2020 the Kerrisdale Seniors’ Centre lunch service was reactivated, but was closed again before Christmas due to costs and COVID-19 restrictions that preclude the desirable social objectives of the program. While the Board of Directors had hoped to resume the lunch service in April 2021, Vancouver Coastal Health’s use of the Seniors Centre as a COVID Vaccination Centre makes that impossible.
