May 2026 update: On May 5, 2026, upon completion of a series of repairs, Vancouver Park Board operations staff filled the Kerrisdale Pool and initiated the circulation pumps and heat exchanger in preparation for reopening the facility to the public. During this process, staff identified significant water loss from the pool system. An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact source of the water loss, and repairs will proceed once the cause has been confirmed. Once all repairs are complete and systems are fully operational, the facility will undergo inspection and approval by Vancouver Coastal Health prior to reopening to the public.
