Immediate Changes at Kerrisdale Community Centre

New COVID-19 province-wide restrictions were announced late last week (November 20) by the Provincial Health Officer to help curb the spread of COVID-19. The order focuses on social interactions and gatherings, indoor group physical activities, and workplace safety.

Masks are now required in all public indoor settings and workplaces. New mandatory mask signage has posted throughout the Centre, and secondary signage is coming to clarify some mask related points (e.g., aquatics, fitness centres, rinks, vigorous activities).

Suspended Programs
All indoor in-person fitness classes and traditional indoor sports programs remain suspended until further notice. A detailed list of suspended Kerrisdale programs can be found below

Still Operating

  • The Kerrisdale Rink and Pool remain open with enhanced health and safety protocols in place. Patrons are asked to wear masks up to when they are about to participate in a program and immediately replace the mask once they have concluded participating.
  • Little Owls Preschool remains open.
  • Arts programs and the Seniors Lunch Program (Dine-in & Take-out service) remain open with enhanced health and safety protocols in place
  • Kerrisdale’s Online Programs continue to operate.

 If you are registered for a program that is cancelled, you will receive an email notification and your program fee will be refunded for the sessions that are cancelled at the conclusion of the Fall Season.
