Proof of Vaccination

Effective October 24, proof of full vaccination (2 doses) will be required to access specific programs and services for those ages 12 years and older.  

The BC Vaccine Card is the only accepted form of proof of vaccination.  Paper immunization records received at vaccine appointments are no longer accepted as proof of vaccination. 

Participants will be required to show the digital or printed version of the vaccine QR code. In addition to the QR code, participants ages 19 years of age and older will be required to show government-issued ID.

Entry into the community centre complex does not require proof of vaccination.

Proof of Vaccination Requirements:

Kerrisdale Community Centre and Senior’s Centre

NOT REQUIRED for general entry to centre and use of facilities such as washrooms and showers.

REQUIRED at the Centre for:

  • Events with 50 of more participants
  • 12 yrs+ for participating in indoors adult-based or family/mixed-age sports, exercise, fitness, dance class or physical activity programs

Kerrisdale Pool

NOT REQUIRED for general entry to centre and use of facilities such as washrooms and showers.

 REQUIRED at Pools for:

  • Events with 50 of more participants
  • Swim competitions

Kerrisdale Cyclone Taylor Arena

NOT REQUIRED for general entry to centre and use of facilities such as washrooms and showers.

 REQUIRED at the Arena for:

  • Events with 50 of more participants
  • Gathering of people indoors for adult sport

Kerrisdale Public Library

NOT REQUIRED to enter library

REQUIRED for participation in adult programs of more than 50 people.  Check vpl.ca for specific program details. 

Face Masks

Masks are mandatory in the community centre at all times with the exception of those under the age of 5.

Masks can be removed temporarily when:

  • consuming food or drink while seated,
  • While engaged in physical activity, exercise or sport,
  • While communicating with a person for whom visual cues, facial expressions, lip-reading or lip movement are essential.
