The Kerrisdale Community Centre Society is looking for an experienced Chef and Food Services Coordinator to manage all aspects of its kitchen operations, which serves an average of 110 Seniors Lunch Program participants each day. Key responsibilities include food preparation, menu planning and leading a team of staff and volunteers.
This position works a 40-hour work week, with regular daytime hours (6 a.m.-2 p.m.).
Considerable independent action and judgement are exercised in day-to-day activities related to kitchen operations. Flexibility, serenity and a positive attitude to providing service to the senior clientele are essential.
