Temporary Program Changes

In accordance with the Government of British Columbia’s Public Health Order effective December 21, the Kerrisdale Community Centre is introducing some temporary program closures and changes.

Cancellation & Closures (December 23 – Until Further Notice)

  • Exercise Room 
  • Facilities Rentals for celebratory events
  • Adult and Senior Group Fitness, Exercise & Dance Classes
  • Kerrisdale Birthday Party programs
  • Kerrisdale social gathering events (e.g., Opera Zone)

The start of Winter 2022 adult and senior fitness and dance classes will be postponed until further notice; this will affect the following programs:

Changes to Seniors Lunch Program (December 23 – Until Further Notice)

  • Physical distancing of 2 meters must be maintained between tables.
  • A maximum of 6 people can be seated at the same table.
  • Mingling or moving between tables is not permitted.
  • Attendance will be limited to 50% room occupancy (maximum 50 participants).

The following programs will continue as planned (no changes)

  • All recreation programs for children and youth
  • All recreation programs for mixed ages and family programs
  • Adult & Senior educational, arts, and sedentary non-movement-based programs
