The committee has decided to focus on the following areas:
- Are there significant social trends in the Kerrisdale area that are impacting KCC?
- Is KCCS membership changing as a result of social and demographic shifts?
- What sorts of programs are members looking for? How can the Community Centre better serve their needs?
- What can KCC do to enrich the lives of our friends and neighbours?
During the Jump, Slide ‘N Play for Free event at the Kerrisdale Play Palace on April 18, the committee conducted a pilot survey with over 60 patrons to begin gathering information and feedback. A similar pilot survey was also done during the Kerrisdale Day on April 23. The committee will work on improving the questionnaire before rolling out a major survey of patrons in June.
Are you interested in joining the Committee? Do you have comments or suggestions on programs and service needs? If so, please contact Don Munton through the KCC front desk staff. Stay tuned for more.
