Event Description:

“ART KNOWS NO REST; ONLY MOBILITY.” – Cupiden. Chess and academic achievement are closely linked, particularly in math, spatial analysis, and critical thinking. Chess promotes higher-level thinking skills like visualization and analysis while connecting kids to real-world applications, sparking a desire to learn. By engaging in this tactical game, kids develop life skills such as goal-setting and leadership. Chess also fosters a strong, confident self-image and discipline within a collaborative classroom environment. Instructor’s Mission: Strategies now, leader tomorrow.Open to kids ages 8-13 with proficiency in chess tactics. Chess folder kit included. Drop-in $19; space permitting. No class on Feb 16.

REFUND POLICY

A $5 processing fee will be charged for all program refunds and transfers. 48 hours notice is required and there will be no refunds granted after the scheduled second class.
