The Centre for Intergenerational Engagement (CIE), created by the Vancouver Arts Colloquium Society (VACS) with funding from the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP), supports intergenerational learning as a catalyst for social change and personal resilience.

CIE will bring people together through integrative, mutually beneficial, art-driven activities that promote greater understanding and respect between generations and build on the positive resources that young and old have to offer each other.

A series of hands-on workshops and projects will be organized around interconnected themes and participants will be invited to one of 3 mentored-projects:
1) Making Movies By and About Community,

2) Creative Placemaking,
3) Making A Collaborative Blanket Together with A Musqueam Weaver.
