Private Music Lessons

Private Music Lessons

Why should you take private music lessons?

Private lessons aren’t just for kids either! Many adults find that private music lessons offer a sense of satisfaction, while developing new skills.

Are you interested in learning to play an instrument? Kerrisdale Community Centre offers private music instruction to students of all ages interested in piano, violin, saxophone, flute, clarinet, recorder and guitar. We have talented, well-trained, and knowledgeable music teachers. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable learning experience for our students, as we foster a love of music performance.

Private lessons offer an opportunity for band and orchestra students to improve technically on their instrument, while improving their performance abilities. Students who take private lessons are able to progress in their knowledge and ability at a more rapid pace than students who are involved in band or orchestra with no private instruction.

Music help build a sense of confidence, teach consistency, and self-discipline. It also encourages daily practice which helps students develop good routines and a sense of responsibility.
